Saudi Arabia : 06 March 2011

Expenditures in Saudi public sector’s IT sector will reach $2.4 billion for 2013, up from about $1.6 billion spent in 2009. This represents a growth rate of 10.9 percent compounded annually, according to recent figures cited by an industry expert.

A leading firm in IWM (Intelligent Workload Management), Novell Middle East commented that this trend creates the perfect backdrop for their company to increase a marketing push in Saudi Arabia. The firm will also organize campaigns aimed at educating target audiences regarding their future enterprise solutions.

As IT spending in Saudi Arabia continues to increases, Novell’s managing director Diyaa Zebian said it is important that awareness is raised allowing businesses to capture the understanding and advantages available through the Suse Linux Enterprise Server.

Novell has put together a road show to be held across Saudi Arabia providing special demonstrations covering the advantages that the Suse Linux Enterprise Server platform, interoperable and made for computing that is mission-critical, provides.
