Know Your Audience And Land Your Dream Job

Middle East : 25 May 2010

Alec Brownstein was just another job-seeking creative when he came up with a novel idea to secure himself a job.

Knowing that high flying New York advertising executives have high flying egos to match, Brownstein spent $6 buying Google adspots by their names. This meant that every time the businessmen, including David Droga, Scott Vitrone and Ian Reichenthal, googled themselves the first result they saw was a message from Brownstein asking for a job.

The executives were so impressed that, four interviews later, Brownstein claims to have landed himself work with top creative agency Y&R. Well, it definitely makes a change from the sandwich board man.
