Falcon invites You to View Abu Dhabi from the Skies

Falcon Aviation Services which is based in Abu Dhabi have just opened their first commercial heliport, this new airport for helicopters is said to have cost approximately Dh3 million. It is situated beside the Marina Mall and at present it has three helipads and one master helipad which will be kept for the exclusive use of Falcon’s aircraft which will include some of its helicopters that it will be using for its new sightseeing service.

These sightseeing tours will consist of a thirty minute flight over Abu Dhabi in an EC130 helicopter and it will first fly over Corniche and continue towards Saadiyat along to the Yas islands, passing over the Shaikh Zayed Grand Mosque and on to the Emirates Palace Hotel. Bookings will now be taken for a group tour or an individual one and will cost between Dh 490 and Dh 1,250 per person depending on individual preferences

During the opening ceremony the hope was expressed that people would avail of the opportunity to see the city from a new perspective and Falcon hope that this new service will allow those who could not previously afford this experience to now avail of this new opportunity.

Falcon also expressed their hope that this will become a tourist attraction and they are hoping that they will have to add more aircraft to their service in the future to cater for increased demand.
