Etisalat to Provide Telecoms Services to the new City of Arabia

Etisalat has just signed an agreement to provide advanced telecommunications services to the new City of Arabia complex which is currently being completed and will be situated in the heart of Dubai city.

It has been agreed that Etisalat will provide the City of Arabia with an advanced fiber optic network which will provide the complex with high speed internet services, Mobile broadband services as well as a landline service, GSM and infrastructure services.

The City of Arabia is a new concept being adopted in Dubai and it is composed of four separate elements which have now all been fused together and are the Mall of Arabia is set to be one of the worlds largest, there will also be a theme park known as Restless Planet, an earth science museum and a planetarium. The complex will also include Wadi Walk which is a residential living area where there will also be 34 commercial buildings. It is hoped to launch this new complex towards the end of next year. It is predicted that the City of Arabia will have 32,000 residents when it is fully completed.

All of the commercial and retail units will have high speed fixed and mobile broadband services and this will allow them to be much more efficient and productive and because the services will be very competitively priced they will also be highly cost effective.
