The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing are all set to get their new strategy for expanding the tourist industry underway. As part of their new initiative they will be traveling to thirty six overseas travel exhibitions and will host road shows and workshops in ten of the selected countries.
The DTCM Director General stated that the promotional tours have been fine tuned to take many factors into account and that they have had to change some of their intended strategies due to the global downturn but they have now taken every factor into account and now feel they have all the information and marketing strategies to move forward confidently.
This annual promotion began in the middle of January at the Austrian International Travel and Tourism Fair which was held in Vienna. To date they have also participated in the Spanish International Travel and Tourism Fair and this was then followed by the Swiss International Travel and Leisure Fair which was held in Zurich. They were then followed by many more successful events.
The DTCM Director General said they are currently very happy with the response they are receiving and now they are very much looking forward to the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing event which will consist of four Dubai Tourism road Shows which will take place in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden between April 19 to 22.Paul Holdsworth, Staff Writer, Gulf Jobs Market News
